Hi!
Myself Design team member Sunaina here! This is my 1st Dt project submission for the month of October. I made this beautiful 'Subh Labh Tassels' keeping in mind that this will be a perfect inspiration for upcoming Diwali. I made this project with the 'Incredible India' paper pack and Diwali Element Sheet, gold mirror card stock and embellishments from Swati Craft Corner. The papers from this paper pack are absolutely beautiful and perfect for preparing different projects for all Indian festivals and occasional themes.
Here is a small write up on how did I prepared this project.
First of all, I chose a paper from 6 by 6 paper pack and cut a circle out of it into diameter 15 cms. Then, I had made a circle border to it using gold mirror card stock. After that, I used my Spellbinders background dies to create a background for Subh Labh using gold mirror card stock again, just to highlight it.
Then, I decorated it with some elements from Diwali element sheet, handmade flowers and tear drop embellishments. I also added small tassels which I created from my old Rakhis and added a satin twine ribbon on top to create a hanging. Finally, to give it a finished look, I added a circle of white card stock on the backside of the Subh labh tassels.
For, a clear picture of the project, I have added a small tutorial video. Hope you enjoy watching this.
Thanks & happy crafting
